The Company provides road freight transport and associated logistics services within mainland UK, including:

A Booking is confirmed when the Company issues a written confirmation (by email) including a reference number and agreed price. Verbal instructions alone do not constitute a confirmed Booking. The Customer is responsible for providing accurate collection and delivery details. Errors in the information provided may result in additional charges.
Published prices on the website are indicative starting prices in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Final pricing is agreed at the time of Booking and confirmed in writing. The Company reserves the right to apply surcharges for:
Payment is due as agreed at the time of Booking. Commercial Customers on account must pay within 14 days of invoice. Late payment will incur statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
The Customer shall:
The Company's liability for loss or damage to Goods is limited to the lesser of: (a) the actual repair or replacement cost of the Goods, or (b) £50 per consignment, unless the Customer has declared a higher value in writing prior to Booking and paid any applicable additional insurance premium.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
The Company maintains appropriate liability insurance for its operations. Customers are advised to arrange their own goods-in-transit insurance for high-value shipments. The Company can arrange additional coverage upon request and at additional cost.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled collection time incur no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours of collection may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the agreed price. Same-day service cancellations after dispatch of the vehicle are non-refundable. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.
Any claim for loss or damage must be notified to the Company in writing within 3 business days of the delivery date (or the expected delivery date in the case of loss), and formally submitted within 7 business days. Claims submitted after this period will not be accepted.
Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

The domain name "transitforge.uk" is used by the Company as an internet address only. It does not constitute a registered trade mark, brand name or trading name of SKINNERS R&R LTD and confers no separate legal identity.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your Booking applies to that Booking. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
